I visited Bogmessen 2007, the biggest Danish book fair, and this year there was an Egmont booth. Egmont Serieforlaget is the Danish publisher of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck magazines, and in the booth there was an artist, who drew assorted Disney birds on a whiteboard, and children copied them onto paper. I sat down in the back row and drew me some Ducks and other birds too.
This is the first drawing I did that evening. The artist drew an old-fashioned pear shaped light bulb, but I felt that I should honour the fact, that we are seven years past the new millennium, and hence I drew a neon light bulb :D
