This page is called "The GateWay", because the idea is that it offers a gateway into my personal imagination.
Back in 2001, when I first started coding HTML and CSS pages, people had these static personal pages, on which they uploaded their drawings and fiction, and I really wanted such a thing too. I see the items on this page as art pieces, but also the page itself as an evolving art piece.
The general trend has changed to having blogs, uploading art to massive multiuser galleries with comment functions, running specialised roleplaying bulletin boards, and generally to enable more interactivity.
This page is a fossil, both content- and design-wise, but it will most likely stay this way, as its purpose is to be an outlet for my personal creative sparks, and for this purpose the GateWay is doing an awesome job still. I have user accounts on big socialising hubs and multiuser galleries, on which I interact and upload my stuff. More on these in the "me"-section.
Also, I have detected a new trend in this page: Where I did tinker with an entire section, until every graphics pixel was twisted to my satisfaction and the section looked finished, I am now much more feeling like works in progress. The Internet always evolves and so does this page. Great examples of that is the [Elfsewer], and the [District 9 Dôjinshi page].
I have created all the graphics, art items, CSS-files, and basically everything on this page on my own, unless other is specified.
TL;DR: It's me fuxpaeg. Most of it is mine, b1tch.
