And in 2003 everyone had JavaScript pieces to flash around, and in 2005 everyone had a tiny, tiny page in a frame,
and opacity filters on, and in 2007 it's all big, glossy, rounded-edge elements with gradient overlay and a lot of AJAX.
I did not care for the frames, and I don't care for the rounded-edge style now.
I also never had a rotating "@" - sign on my page either :D
I do experiment with new stuff though,
and the one thing that annoys me most is that I do not know enough PHP to build parts of the page, so it uses a database (The McKenzie project would be a serious candidate).
I plan on using AJAX in the future, and I may use it to increase the ease of navigation and general use,
but I will not go all rounded-egde gradient overlay, because
I think it is fantabularily fugly.
In 2011 I got a larger screen and updated my design to better fit the larger screens people generally had on their desktops and laptops.
What I am going to do about the insurgence of tablet computers and smart phones I don't know yet.
