T.O.W future is set 166 years from now. Planets in T.O.W. are either inhabited or having extensive systems of space stations circling around them. There was no environmental apocalypse on Earth, as many fear today, although you're fried, if you walk around without protective gear in the Far East Asia regions, and approximately 70% of the human World population has distinctive developmental problems and congenital issues of varying severity, which has led to the breakdown of most Western style civilisations. The Gulf Stream is dead, and Europe is an icy cold tundra, and the African Continent is one bleak desert hellhole. The waters have risen and flooded land, which was previously inhabited. Not fun.
T.O.W the Future has currently most action in the Martian country Eastan, more specific around a group of humanoid geeks, who dabble in time travel and have built working Wormholes. There is great activity between a couple of T.O.W NOW! characters, mainly the Copenhagen Vampire Coven, and the aforementioned T.O.W future characters because of that. Two Eastani characters, the Pixie Elves Jamaye and Keziah McKenzie have [a project describing the Future for us Now'ers here :o)]
