I'm sorry to hear, but you're definitely out of luck. The Internet works with the premise, that anyone can link to anyone else without prior consent.
I do always respect it, when people want us to link to, say, the index page, and I never hotlink, unless an express permission is given (for example lots of people give a piece of code containing a direct link to their banner),
but I do ignore it, when people throw a hissy fit, just because I dared to link their page. If you don't want your stuff out there, then password protect it. It is that easy.
There are rare occasions, where an old, old page really needs to die, or, where a person later on decides to password-protect and/or delete a page, also being a part of teh Global linkaz0id-village
may sometimes bring unreasonable problems, in which case I do dislink, although I have a very hard time coming up with why a link on my page could pose a problem. But you can always contact me on this matter [here].
