OPERATION CLAMBAKE

In these days (post-February 2006) I should probably be extremely cautious with posting links to pages, which have the goal to diminish the influence of a religion. But I could not give a lesser damn in the case of Scientology. In my opinion Scientology is a money-making machine, orchestrated by Lafayette Ron Hubbard and some clever people, using the ideas of L. Ron Hubbard's science fiction writing. It is not a path, which I would want for my children. Imagine, your children have to take everything I write within my fantasy world, the T.O.W., as the absolute truth. Imagine, they had to celebrate the seasons of the Sun instead of Christmas, Ramadhan and what have you these days. They had to be aware of vampires, elves and bad spirits, which vampires and elves had to fight. They would know a vampire by the name of Lofotica, named after the group of islands called Lofoten. They're travelling through Wormholes, some of which are situated in industrial washing machines (because the cylinder does rotate and can hold a person). That would be just as ridiculous.

Or, imagine, you had to live by the rules of astrology. Like, you cannot go to work, if there is a certain pattern of planetary position on the Heavens, or your child is doomed, because it has a certain horoscope. In order to learn all the astrological rules, which you have to live by, you have to pay serious lettuce for courses. One course for each planet, one for the Sun, one for the Moon and one for each planet and major asteroid. Also, courses on each house, and each angle. And you HAVE to do it. And, in order to access an almanac, you have to fork over even more serious dough, way more than it takes to create and distribute those. Oh, and also, you have to work for free in your spare time. And, you cannot speak to your family, if they do not live by astrology rules. That would be the same situation, and therefore I post this page. But, as always:

use your head, and make up your own mind
